    Using the Factoetum Switchboard

     

    You can easily find information related to items in Factoetum by using the Factoetum "Switchboard".

     There are "Switchboard" options for all Factoetum items

     

    For example: When viewing the item "Bob Dylan" (Musical Artist) on the left you will see a yellow tab labeled "Switchboard"

    When you mouse over the "Switchboard" tab you will receive a menu that contains options for actions and information related to "Bob Dylan" (Musical Artist) 


    Switchboard options for Musical Artist:

    1. YouTube = Choosing this option will take you to a page with YouTube results for the "Musical Artist"
    2. Amazon = Choosing this option will take you an Amazon page with results for the "Musical Artist"
    3. Wikipedia = Choosing this option will take you to the Wikipedia page for the "Musical Artist"
    4. iTunes  = Choosing this option will give you iTunes results for the "Musical Artist"
    5. Twitter= Choosing this option will take you a page of twitter search results for the "Musical Artist"
    6. New York Times= Choosing this option will take you a page of New York Times news search for the "Musical Artist"
    7. BBC= Choosing this option will take you to a page of BBC  news search results for the "Musical Artist"
    8. Guardian = Choosing this option will take you to a page of the Guardians news search results for the "Musical Artist"
    9. Pop Matter = Choosing this option will take to a page of Pop Matter search results that will contain articles and reviews related to the "Musical Artist"
    10. Events= Choosing this option will show a pop up window with concert dates for the "Musical Artist".
    11. MySpace = Choosing this option will take you to the Myspace page of the "Musical Artist"
    12. Rolling Stone = Choosing this option will take you to a search of "Rolling Stoner" artciles about the "Musical Artist"
    13. The Hype Machine= Choosing this option will take to to search results from "The Hype Machine" that contain links to blogs with music realted to the "Musical Artist"
    14. Stero Gum = Choosing this option will take to to search results from "Stero Gum" related to the "Musical Artist"
    15. Pitch Fork = Choosing this option will take to to search results from "Pitch Fork" related to the "Musical Artist"
