Factoetum rss feeds
RSSs a wonderful "Open" technology that can be used for real time transportation of information on the internet.
Because RSS is "Open" you have the ability to read real time content in the "reader/client" of your choice. This means that there is no Vendor Lock-In.
Factoeum most recent items feed
Factoetum provides an rss feed for most recent items added to Factoetum. This means that whenever a new item is added to Factoetum the rss feed will be updated.
You can obtain the "most recent" items added to Factoetum feed by clinking on this link and then choosing to add it to your default rss reader.
Factoetum Favorites feed
The Factoetum Favorites feed gives you the ability to receive real time feeds of items that are added as Favorites by members that you follow.
This means that you can follow a friends/members list of Favorite: Music, Films, Cities, Books and more in real time, and in the application of your choice.
You have the option of subscribing to all of a members feeds or to only the feeds that are of intrest to you.
To see how this works you should:
- log in and add the member below as a favorite by click on the grey star next to the members name. Oops! I tried more than the maximum number of times to render Bruce Wayne (Member), but then stopped, fearing infinity. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
- The star will turn yellow to indicate that you have favored the member and that you now have the ability to subscribe to their rss feed.
- To subscribe to a feed of all of the members favorites click on the orange RSS icon next to the members name.
- To subscribe to the members individual feeds click the arrow to the far left of the members name.
- You will see a list of the all the members favorites by category.
- To subscribe to one of the individual feed click on the orane rss icon next to the name of the favorite items list.
- One you click on the orange rss icon you will need to add the feed to your default rss reader
